SIA "Stikla Serviss" is starting a new project to introduce a
new green innovation product and technology into
production

SIA "Stikla Serviss" 26.08.2022. has signed an agreement with the Investment and
Development Agency of Latvia about the implementation of the project "High valuated
investments for implementing novel, eco-innovative products, and green technologies in
SIA “Stikla Serviss”” (ID No. AK-IES/4), contract No. NP-NP-2022/52, under Norwegian
Financial Mechanism’s 2014-2020 Programme “Business Development, Innovation and
SME’s” open call “Application of green industry innovation and ICT products and
technologies”.
The aim of the SIA “Stikla Serviss” project is to introduce a new product, a module/glass
structure, with several market-based applications and the production technologies needed
to produce it, in cooperation with Norwegian partner AS “Klausengruppen”.
During the implementation of the project, it is planned to:
– purchase and install the necessary equipment to produce the new product,
– in cooperation with the project partner, introduce the new product into production
and develop its applications according to the requirements and technical conditions
of various markets.
During the implementation of the project, it is planned to achieve a significant reduction of
production-related emissions, waste and energy consumption throughout the product's life
cycle and thus ensure the introduction of green innovations in the production of SIA "Stikla
Serviss".
The total cost of the project is planned to be EUR 1,291,520.00, where the eligible costs are
the equipment purchase costs in the amount of EUR 1,246,820.00. The support of the
Norwegian financial instrument is planned in the amount of EUR 600,000.
20 months are planned for the implementation of the project, which will allow the
completion of the project no later than April 2024, to start the production of the new
product afterwards.
