SIA “Stikla Serviss” 26.08.2022. has signed an agreement with the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia about the implementation of the project “High valuated investments for implementing novel, eco-innovative products, and green technologies in SIA “Stikla Serviss”” (ID No. AK-IES/4), contract No. NP-NP-2022/52, under Norwegian Financial Mechanism’s 2014-2020 Program “Business Development, Innovation and SME’s” open call “Application of green industry innovation and ICT products and technologies”.
The aim of the SIA “Stikla Serviss” project is to introduce a new product, a module/glass structure, with several market-based applications and the production technologies needed to produce it, in cooperation with Norwegian partner AS “Klausengruppen”.
During the implementation of the project, 10 contracts were concluded with suppliers from different countries for the supply of equipment necessary for the production of the new product, and 9 equipment sets have already been delivered – washing machine, drilling machine, loader system, cutting line, laminated glass cutting line, technological water treatment equipment, semi-automatic glass storage rack system, curved edge processing equipment and stationary glass storage rack system. The delivery of the other equipment is still being planned.
The total cost of the project is planned to be EUR 1,283,875.58, where the eligible costs are the equipment purchase costs in the amount of EUR 1,166,820.00. Norwegian financial instrument support is planned in the amount of EUR 583,410.00. 20 months are planned for the implementation of the project, which will allow the completion of the project no later than April 2024, to start the production of the new product afterwards.
